When the receptionist is not on duty an answering machine will take your call.  Please leave a clear message with your name and phone number.  Your call will be returned at the earliest possible time.

Unless extensive and/or complicated, beard, mustache, eyebrow, and ear hair trimming is included in the price of a haircut. If only those services are needed, please ask the receptionist for additional pricing information.

Important Notice

Michael's base of operation is in the ColorTec Salon. He works as an independent stylist, but shares resources—including the receptionist—with other stylists in the salon, thus when you call for an appointment it is important that you specify that you are calling to make an appointment with Michael Delees. With that tidbit out of the way, please read on and learn what is included in a Michael Delees cut and style.

The Michael Delees Advantage

When you make your first appointment with Michael you will learn the true meaning of the Michael Delees Advantage, until then it is merely words. Yet we need to use those words now to describe what you will get for your money. First Michael will do a complete consultation with you to analyze your hair type, desired look, how much time you want to put into maintaining your cut and look, any problems you have with your hair, and your other hair care needs. There is no charge for the consultation, because Michael feels strongly that getting it right the first time and every time will keep you coming back for many years—just like scores of his clients today.

But it doesn't stop there. Once the consultation is concluded, the haircut begins with a complete and thorough shampooing, including analysis of scalp for dandruff, eczema, hair loss, or other scalp problems. This process not only prepares your hair for cutting and styling, but will yield additional information that will be important in the long-term maintenance of your hair. The shampooing is concluded with a thorough hair conditioning.

Now the step-by-step cutting begins with great attention to detail so that your cut adheres to your hair type and the natural patterns of your hair part and flow. Then your hair is dried and styled according to the master plan that was laid out during the consultation. That normally concludes most haircuts, but not with Michael Delees. He will take the time, if you are interested, to provide you with complete step-by-step instructions on how you can achieve the same look at home.

The last step is vital in the long-term maintenance of your looks. Most of the time Michael can get that first haircut to be the perfect haircut, but sometimes it takes a couple of visits. It is important that you tell Michael exactly what you think after he finishes each haircut. It will not hurt his feelings if something is wrong and the only way he can get it exactly right is for you to tell him when it's right and when it's wrong. He will note any comments on your blueprint card, so that the next time you visit he gets it exactly the way you want it. When that has been achieved, it will be your passport to the same haircut every time! Just as importantly, when you are out-of-town or move away from the area, the card can be given to any stylist and he or she will also know exactly what to do to achieve the same look you want every time!

Last, but certainly not the least, unless you want Michael to propose a new look for you, he will cut and style your hair the way you want it, not how he thinks it should be. His blueprint system ensures that he follows an exact course, thus eliminating factors that distort a stylist's work, such as distractions, mood changes, and a host of other things. In short, Michael gives you the look you want every time!
